Vietcong-online.de: Ah nice, I am from Vietcong; former ESL Admin, Admin of our German Vietcong page, and moderator in our german community-forum I would like to ask you some questions about Vietcng in UAC2, well, rather kind of an interviewing you. Something I can post on my homepage and the ESL. Nobody knows anything about the tool "UAC2" and why our game is included :-)

Vietcong-online.de: Okay, it is not so important. What is, indeed, more important: Does your tool do more than just Screenshoting for Vietcong? I mean, how can it scan files without knowing the cheats?

{USSP}DExUS: Sure it does. UAC never does only screenshots. It is scanning for known and unknown cheats. Unknown cheats are sent to us as alerts and we investigate. Users with known cheats are instantly added to the cheaters list.

Vietcong-online.de: So it would help if I send you the cheat Database of our former Anti-Cheat Tool? We already had one but it went offline just a few weeks ago. So we are happy to have a new one.

Still, I am not sure how you can identify unknown cheats? That's something our former Anti Cheat Tool elaborated on for years.

{USSP}DExUS: Well, we have 2 ways to detect them, but I will not reveal the way of functioning, sorry.

Vietcong-online.de: Yes, of course It is sufficient enough to know that there is more than just screenshot checking!

Vietcong-online.de: And I also have a proposal: If your Anti Cheat Tool starts the game automatically and not waiting for the user to start it, it would prevent users to start VCHook, which is a universal cheat including Wallhack, Aimbot and stuff. Is that possible?

{USSP}DExUS: Hmm, yes, but that will need a lot of changes to UAC itself. I prefer not to do that.

Vietcong-online.de: Never mind, it was just a proposal :-) And there is yet another thing: Some smart guy, Brchi, created this start up tool, which fixes some bugs, added anisotropic filtering and solved a problem that Windows 7/Vista users had. It is a different .exe than the normal one. Does your tool recognize it is as a not-cheat file?

{USSP}DExUS: Well, depends... UAC can limit the executables to versions, so if you send me "all" executables that are allowed as main game executable , then you will be more protected.
